Gentle, Comforting, Thought-Provoking E. C. Martz I bought this book because I am a great fan of Kenneth Lamug's drawings - and they did not let me down - whimsical, lovely, and hilarious.The bonus for me was the story which is made up of a series of thoughts and observations that accompany each drawing. The words are simple yet profound.I've read this book a couple of times, and I know I'll read it ag. "Whimsical Fun and Intelligently Written" according to Bookman Bruce. What a wonderful surprise this book was! A Box Story sounds like it will be plain and dull but this book is fun, whimsical and entertaining! The story is enlightening and follows a logical pattern that is complimented by the drawings. A Box Story is the type of book that appears to be a simple yet fun children's book but underneath it all there is a mes. Sandy said Every Child NEEDS this book.
