There was no Mavis or Nadine--just the case--going from one thing to another. Usually I can't put her books down. This one I could.. Love series--This book falls in bottom 10 of series Longtime JD Robb fan. Read all of the books in the series and have re-read most. This took a little too much from the book about the groom and didn't have enough of the main group of characters that make the series so good. Nadine was barely a footnote, Mavis was only quoted with basically a Hay given by Peabody.Deputy from the south working on the case was a good addition.
