She makes using her recipes fun and interesting, and they are original in their interpretation of more traditional family recipes. They work!Laurie B. This is not only a cookbook, it can be a coffee table book as well because the photographs are outstanding and gorgeous to look at. I love that Hillary incorporated both "made from scratch recipes" as well as recipes that use some store bought items such as puff pastry - because that is how the French cook. This is a keeper cookbook, a GREAT gift idea, and something that you will hand down from generation to generation.
