Save yourself a pile of time and just read her Save yourself a pile of time and just read her paper "Grit: perseverance and passion for long-term goals", Journal of personality and social psychology, 2007. This book is the results from there, plus a collection of exaggerations and cherry-picked anecdotes.. Really enjoyed this book on tape Really enjoyed this book on tape. The author reads it and I always find that lends more interest as who is better than the author at telling their own "story". It comes at the subject from all sides which gives one a comprehensive overview. Also, she uses many stories, from people you've most likely heard about, to give the reader/listener another way of digesting the information.
