Ok if you want to learn “formal” Japanese Fine, well arranged, but dated. Virtually all texts and conversations are in “formal” speech.. P. Lee said Good book for learning Japanese. This is an excellent book for learning to read and write Japanese.However, I do have one criticism. The type and Kanji is much toosmall. How do the Japanese ever read when the Kanji so printed sosmall?. a very good book Great book, I have this one and Japanese for beginners by Gakken and they helped me a lot with advanced grammar and writing. Very recommended for those who already know the basic grammar and pronunciation.
