They also do a really good job of tying things together; they make it a point to tell you "well, your studies of Biochem are not isolated. You'll see mention of this concept in Organic Chemistry chapter 8 because it is very important . The goal is to practice for the mcat, not to merely study for it benjuri I'm sure a majority of people who are leaving reviews on this set of books have not taken enough practice tests themselves to realize how misleading these books are. These books on their own merit are great review for the content but they will set you up for failure on the test. The goal of the mcat is not to hoard on reviewing content but to master the test. And in the end of the day what matters most is mastering the test. There's not enough practice material here. Likewise, the books don't provide you with helpful strategies pertinent to test day. Please take my advi. Jesus said Kaplan online content with the books is not the best. The online content leaves a lot to be desired. I bought this version of the books because it included online access to material along with videos and supplemental information. However, it isn't worth the money, the video content that Kaplan offers is very limited and this price-tag is hefty. I'd recommend foregoing the online access, get yourself the books for cheaper and just for content review and use Khan academy or YouTube to reinforce concepts that you may not understand. There are also sites that offer free diagnostic and practice tests in case you need those.
