As a pretty good student of both military and political history DocBob As a pretty good student of both military and political history, Killing Patton was probably the most detailed and intensive review of Patton I've ever read. It is refreshingly balanced, given both the conflicting sides of the Patton personality and the rapidly changing political polarization that came to be in the latter days of WW2, and flourished wildly in the post-war era. Patton's indisputably invaluable military skills so prized in the early war . "An Insight of a Warrior/Leader of the time" according to lcp_bklvr. It is quite humbling to gain insight and clearer understanding of a man who knew he was meant to be and became a warrior/leader during a catastrophic time in our world. I am grateful to be able to read about the leader and the soldiers who got the job done. I think we are in need of that kind of leader and trained individuals that will lead us through our current challenges.
