I really enjoy the "Private" novels I really enjoy the "Private" novels, but I was shocked when I started reading "Missing, A Private Novel". The title page states "first time available in the US and Canada". It may be the first time available under the name "Missing", but the story is actually "Private Sydney". I was not disappointed with the story, but with the deception of the title. I spent good money for the same book I already had in my collection.. "Missing" a Comfy Tale of Mystery & Suspense, but 'Missing' Great, Evocative Character Development *** UP FRONT ALERT ***Although The language is decidedly Adult English, the profanities, especially f-bombs are not overly used.Quick & Dirty HighlightsMissing is a stand-alone novel in the Private series featuring a private investigation firm for upscale, international, clients. This story, or I should say the stories in this novel, feature the Australia based firm. Assisting Patterson is Australian Crime Writer Kathryn Fox, lending credibility and a bit of spice, to an otherwise familiar plot-based mystery that is deep on the element . Different Kindle Customer Completely different than any other Private novel. I don't think I liked it. When I put it down, I didn't rush back to it.The book was missing the exciting details that all the other Private novels have provided. Don't get me wrong, some were displayed while looking for the missing baby but not enough to keep Private fans entertained. From the first something was missing from the novel and I think it was quality.
