Who edited this book? Linda Bullard-Babcock I have read many Danielle Steel novels, and have loved them all; until Property of a Nobelwoman. It has been a long time since I have read one of her novels, and I was ready for a story like this one; very simple, but I am having a difficult time reading it because so many sentences start with "and," the punctuation is very poor, and too many run-on sentences. It is very distracting, and makes for a difficult read. It is hard to get into the story when you are skipping over the "ands" and having to re-read sentences. I don't. A decent read It has been a long while since I have read a Danielle Steel book. I used to be addicted to her work, but had to step away for awhile. Once again, I found her work to be predictable, and her characters not fully developed, but over all I did enjoy this book, mainly just on the premise. This was a good travel book to read, as I could put it down when interrupted. A good read, but not totally absorbing.. Disappointed Deborah I have always enjoyed Steeles books, however the past few have been duds and this one was not any different. This read like a log. There wasn't any suspense to the story, it was predictable. The characters were not explored fully, and I did really see any build up of chemistry between the characters. Personally, I really did not care about the characters. The plot was weak, predictable and resolved itself too quickly. I would have preferred exploring Marguerite's relationship with her parents, the love story between the teen
