I hoped that Van Lustbader would carry on Ludlum's Jason Bourne character and develop it as Ludlum would have. I have tried two books in the Bourne series written by Van Lustbader and am very unhappy with the way he is carrying on the Bourne character. This book was bloodthirsty as he didn't bother to develop a character and se. Eric Van Lustbader ROCKS!! Ted Van Lustbader has picked up the ball and run with it. Seamless. These Bourne action packed novels are fast paced and gripping. I have read and own every one of them and this is a very very good book. I highly recommend it to all those who love counter terrorism, black op type action. These are some of the very best out there. C
