Easily the best so far. Checker Reviews I'll make this short and quick.Better DM material in the front of the book, including a flowchart of events, NPC description, an overview of the forces at play in the adventure. Basically everything that was asked for after Out of the Abyss hit the shelves. I'd rate this section a SOLID 10/10. Hope to see the same sort of thing in future prewritten adventures. The adventure itself is a 9/10. I absolutely love this thing. It's about the same level as Curse of Strahd, if not better. Very very pleased. Well organized - probably the best organized book dropped for 5e besides Lost Mines. And speaking of Lost Mines, there are adventure ties in on. A solid springboard campaign! Reading through this, I like how much flexibility there is. Many pre-canned adventures feel "forced", but I can see an infinite number of ways to improvise off of this campaign with a dynamic group. The story is intriguing and has many spin-off arcs. I can actually see how to create a huge over-arching campaign that incorporates Rise of Tiamat, Storm King's Thunder, Prince's of the Apocalypse, and Curse of Strahd beyond the hints the give you in one of the appendices, as well as incorporating it with my own unique campaign creation of an "interwar" DandD universe that relies heavily on intrigue. I especially dig their new jam of taking a classic adventure, giving it a literary spin, and updating it for modern sensibilities (in this case, "Against the Giants" plus "King Lear").Unfortunately this book suffers from some major flaws that prevent it from being used as a stand-alone campaign. It's a shame, because the content is well-written and the interior art is gorgeous. But since the 5e line as a whole is well-written and has gorgeous art, that isn't enough to save this module. It tri

Take a stand against the giants in this adventure for the world’s greatest roleplaying game Giants have emerged from their strongholds to threaten civilization as never before. Hill giants are stealing all the grain and livestock they can while stone giants have been scouring settlements that have been around forever. Fire giants are press-ganging the smallfolk into the desert, while frost giant longships have been pillaging along the Sword Coast. The only way the people of Faerun can restore order is
