"Thanks Dean!" according to KJ. This is a great read! It made me laugh out loud many times, especially in the first half. Those Jan & Dan shenanigans! I was Intrigued from the beginning with the story of how these two met and the part about how Dean ended up singing lead on the Beach Boys' rendition of Barbara Ann is hilarious! Good stories - but so much is missing Although I loved the book and gave it five stars, I don't understand why he left out so much information. This is not The Jan and Dan Story, it's the Dean Story, and even so, he left out so much of the story anyway. There's nothing about Dean trying to record as "Jan and Dean" after Jan's near-fatal accident - singing all the vocal parts on a single (The Beach Boys "Vegetabls") and the album (Save For a Rainy Day)
