Lovely couchpotato This book contains a myriad of background paintings and sketches done for the movie adaptation of Taiyo Matsumoto's manga, "Black and White" (Tekkonkinkreet). The book contains intricate line drawings, depicting the Neo-Asian urban setting of the movie. Some of the pencil drawings. It's been a long road but this book is worth every step. Many years ago one of my art teachers brought in this book to show us and it completely changed everything about my artwork and even how I view background as character. Every page is absolutely beautiful and inspiring. I mean, just google it, it's breathtaking.Ever since then I've. "Awesome!" according to Ocean. It came pretty quick by snail mail! I have never seen the movie but I love Shinji Kimura's art style. I would recommend this to any artist whether they draw manga or not. I love how the Black side is all of his pencil sketches/ concept art for the movie.
