(Drawing can be especially challenging, as she needs to keep the iPad steady by balancing it with one leg up in the air - much to the amusement of her family!) Melinda originally wrote a book of poems for her 6 year old niece a few years ago, but never dreamt of trying to publish them, or of trying to illustrate them herself. She loves climbing mountains and rock-climbing (both abroad, and in her local mountains of Snowdonia), and she has always had a soft-spot for cuddly toys! Dreamy illustrations accompany the lilting rhyme as suggestions on how to calm oneself are told. With this story, Ms. Kinsman adds another charming book to the Top of the Wardrobe serie. Clever, engaging, beautifully illustrated, and a real help for children beautifulwords This book is cleverly written and so charming and beautifully illustrated. The color combinations are very eye appealing. Children love that aspect as well. As the title states, it's a great book for bedtime with very useful ways/tools to teach a child who is struggling to fall to fall asleep, all done in wonderfully written rhyme.
