I loved how Nick's anger came to fuel his success and how his fear helped him channel what he needed at the right times. Smallbone is a puzzle. Is he hateful, evil, and angry? Or is he perhaps something m. "Hang in the story will come together." according to Katie Sperlak. Nick or úFoxkinú as Evil Wizard Smallbone calls him has escaped a bad situation with his uncle and cousin, but is it going to be any better with Evil Wizard Smallbone who takes him in? Nick is not sure what to make of Smallbone especially when Nick tries to leave and is not able to. Smallbone informs him that Foxkin is now his apprentice but to Nick he is just cooking and cleaning not learning anything. So he takes matters into his own hands when the Evil Wizard Smallbones Bookshop bri. Enchanting MG fantasy Sweet, funny and magical. I loved Nick, and I LOVED the magical bookstore! (Who wouldn't want one of those?) This book was so much fun to read.
