Stylistically it is among the best I've ever read, and you'll finish it within days if not hours - it really is that well-written. Having said that, however, Page does take large strides when discussing the history of Portugal, and one sh. Martin Page's personal version of the world. This book is definitely a page turner for whoever is completely unfamiliar with Portugal's History but while giving us the gist of it, its many mistakes, omissions and alternate versions make it for a less serious reading.The narration starts in 700 B.C. with the book of Jonah when he sails to Tarshish "the west of A
