Very applicable and current book Megan of Odds&Hens This is a great health care law text book. While law can be a very dense and dry subject to read, this book breaks down the laws uses cases/vignettes to illustrate the interpretations and evolution overtime. Starboard said Not a good read. ok, so I passed the class, that's the good newsIf you want to learn about the law, don't get this book, it's all over the place and cites so many cases in each chapter that you don't understand which case to focus on. I have learned nothing by reading this. And after taking the exams, I have found that you can be reading the material in one chapter and then find another reference in another chapter that totally contradicts the previous principle. Please, someone write a better book!. "For Class" according to Azzie. I like this book very much, although this was purchased for my law class. The material presented in the book is easy to read and understand. It is written with a novice in mind and not a professional. It is also a good reference book for the future. This is one I will keep with me and use whenever I have any questions or doubt about the law. An added bonus is that fact that there are court cases which have taken place in the past. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
