There is nothing more precious than curling up with a child to read, and this one has been a favorite. I have also bought many copies of this book to give as gifts, usually along with a crocheted baby afghan. Goes together perfectly! Amazing illustrations! I just love this book. As I little kid I was really into it. As an adult I can see exactly why. There is a pattern to the language in the story, which also repeats some basic language concepts like 'in', 'on', 'everyone', etc. Everyone should own a copy if they have little kids!
