I like that the series was continuing, but for some reason, i think there could be more of something for the reader to be more engaged in.Personal bad opinion: Acair seemed snarky/mouthy with the banter. For all that he's a black mage, he seems easily surprised (like the spell in question why dind't it show up immediately instead of laterwhile he's doing penance) The heroine, I like, I thin. FANTASTIC!! Another incredible Lynn Kurland story!! Over the years Lynn Kurland has become my all time favorite author. She knows how to spin an amazing story with wonderful characters, an appreciated bit of humor, edge of your seat moments, and loving relationships that move me.
