"Like a Storybook" according to HotPinkSubs. First off, this is not the typical comic book. It's very different from the traditional approach we often find from DC comics. This reads more like a storybook, each panel very beautifully painted with many bright vibrant colors. The writing feels like a traditional fantasy almost, or a children's book except it's aimed for an older aud. I very much liked Jill Thompson's art PrincessMama Shoot, I was excited for this one. I very much liked Jill Thompson's art. But overall I am pretty disappointed by this alternate history that features Wonder Woman as a total jerk and the plot of a Xena/Wonder Woman mashup. The love interest bears a striking resemblance to Renee O'Connor and Diana's cool character design featured on the. Good origin story! Received the hardcover origin comic in excellent condition and on time. As far as the story itself goes, the language used is simple, the art style is good, and story telling style in general is excellent. Once I picked up the book I couldn't stop reading it until it was all done. I only wish it had a little more in terms of content.
