Best biography I have read on Grant thus far Stretching back over a number of years I have read at least three or four other biographies of Ulysses S. Grant. Some of these works have been good; some not so good. I must tell you that the one being reviewed here is the best of the lot thus far.I say this due to the fact that this is one of the most even handed handling of the subject of a somewhat controversial figure in our countries history.
