Great small bible I wanted a bible small and thin enough to read in bed while propped up on a bed rest. This one met my needs. It is sturdy so if I fall asleep with it in the bed, the cover won't bend. And the print is large enough to read without straining. The paper is not thick but when I use ink to underline passages, the ink does not bled through to the other side of the page. I'm really going to enjoy taking this to church. It's small enough to fit into a purse. And to fit easily on a petite lap. I also enjoy that is is a scripture bible without all t. Packaging is horrible. Book is great. Beautiful book but crumbs were all over the book. Who ever packaged it had a great snack. Also the paper is super thin but not a problem for me. Huge font is a plus and all in all the book is great.. "Incredibly annoying italics" according to Gabba Hey. Good hardcover, but thin paper, which isn't that bad, but two starts need to be taken off for the incredibly annoying habit of italicizing random verbs. I'm reading a sentence and in the middle "is" is italicized, or "are" or "become" - it makes absolutely no sense in the sentence to emphasize that particular verb, and it really throws my reading off. The trouble is, this happens almost EVERY sentence, a random word is just emphasized and suddenly your inner monologue while reading is interrupted.
