Darren Oakley has a degree in Biochemistry, and a Bioinformatics MSc and PhD from Cranfield University. He is now working as a developer in the High Throughput Gene Targeting group at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, helping to develop and maintain web-based tracking, monitoring and reporting systems for the laboratory. They answered my questions promptly and in details. I r. "Excellent" according to SB. I have formal education in Bioinformatics, however applied Bioinformatics is somewhat different. This book is a great stepping stone for those who want to work as Bioinformatics analysts, developers etc.. "Very nice book" according to magnolia. This is a very nice bioinformatics book.
