Always wanting to save a buck I opted to purchase on Amazon.The author has come a long way since writing about rodents. The images and story are HILARIOUS. This book instantly becam. J said Love the book, but not feeling the "hate". This is really a great book. The illustrations are great, kids love the whimsical and funny story, and the pace and cadence of the text are excellent. This book is almost perfect.My only critique is that the book uses the word "hate" several times because (spoiler alert!) -- dragons hate spicy salsa. I don't use this word around my small kids because I don't want it to be part of their early vocabulary, I don't want them to use it at school,
