Across the Bay wogan This is a very nice book. It is not really road trips, but more places to visit. When you cross either Bay Bridges or come down south from Delaware, it is a different place, a calmer life and there are secrets to be found.What the book does need instead of the black and white photos in the beginning of each chapter are some maps. Unless one is familiar with the area it might be hard. "Great Read!" according to Scapegoat. I love this book! My grandparents came from Cambridge and Hooper's Island and I can hear the flavor of their life in this book. I remember as a kid of going to the Eastern Shore often to visit family there. To me, it is the neatest place in the whole wide world! I just wish I could uproot from where I live now and plant new roots there. Maybe someday. My dad worked in the tomato can. Robin H.
