Beesusie said Excellent translation, binding, quality of paper, size. This is a high quality Bible. The print is large, but the Bible is a size you can easily carry. The words of Jesus are in red, which some people may not like. However, if you are really interested in just what Jesus said, as recorded in the Bible, I think this is a useful feature. The quality of the binding and the paper is excellent. This is not as popular as other translations, but, rest assured, it is a careful and accurate one.There are very few Bibles with large or giant print that are a reasonable size to carry with you and . "Best Bible out there" according to Liz. As a pastor I have every translation available but find the Holman to be the best combination of accuracy and readability. I like that I don't have to wear my glasses when reading it. I like that it uses God's name where the original text does rather than just 'Lord'. I just wish it used Jesus' real name, Yeshua also. I came upon the HCSB providentially (almost as if by accident). I find it more reader friendly for my congregation (even more so that the ESV). I believe the translation approach (optimal equivalence) is better than the NIV and its readability, given today's literacy levels is equal to or greater than the ESV.
