I wasn't trying to do a book report for my history class, but something to get more insight on the end of World War Two.. MLC said An Outline of History. O'Reilly does a fine job retelling the history of the end of Nazi Germany. Although no new revelations were made, he clearly defines the decisive Battle of the Bulge. He also firmly places General Patton on a permanent list for greatness, and gives accolades to others deserving.An easy read, this book would serve high school history classes well. It teaches simply and clearly.. "Very good book, easy read." according to John. Like other 'Killing' books co authored by O'Reilly, Hitler's Last Days is a well written easy to read book. It flows well with sufficient background to let the reader know what is happening and why. It is not an 'in depth' book. It is, nonetheless, a riveting slice of history. Highly recommended.
