slow start but good end I was expecting more of a Stephanie Plum with Granny in the starring role. This was far from it. The start was interesting enough but slow. It's mainly about some Southern widow used to being rich and running the small town her family started, until her late husband ruined everything. Some crazy characters come to town and by the end I finally got what I wanted all along: a granny turning a statue into a eunuch and another one taking a slimebag down with a yoga pose called "downward facing dog getting ready . Good Read seals4mc This was a good read, it is a mystery, but, nobody is found dead. Miss Lillian needed money to keep up her family home. She also didn't have any money coming in so she pawned a lot of family heirlooms. The plot is who had the money! How she gets it back and what her friends did for her.This is one of those books you just don't want to put down!. "Love this book!" according to angela wilson. Loved this book! Couldn't put it down. Funny and suspenseful. Playful characters that keep you interested. I can't wait to read the other books in this series. I would recommend this to everyone but especially all the grandmas out there looking for a fun read.
