A Good Translation For Native Japanese I am an American student of Japanese and I bought two of these bibles, one for me and another for my Japanese friend who was interested in reading the bible. He said that it was a good "sense" translation. The smaller kanji characters under the title actually mean something like common language. Several of my Japanese friends have also read other Japanese translations and they said that this one was mo. Anzulove said AWESOME!! IT HAS FURIGANA!!. This is for any Christian wanting to learn more about God and the Japanese language. It's slightly out-of-date language (but then again so it's King James ver. with the Old English) so this is the Old Japanese. At first I had difficulty recognizing the letter 'i' in the Furigana text (the small text above the Kanji or beside of), but after further reading I found out it was kind of different from what . this Bible is good and not too hard for my Japanese level I ordered this Japanese Bible because the website that provides the audio Bible uses this version of Bible.
