"Five Stars" according to dude. required for school. "Better than Big Katz for Med Students" according to Brent Schnipke. For medical students, this book is significantly better than its counterpart, "Big Katzung." This version is more succinct and focuses on the clinically important concepts and drugs. The review questions are also great for assessing knowledge. There are occasionally subjects covered in "Big" Katzung that don't translate to the small version, so keep that in mind, but generally these are low yield. Overall,. Good questions, but review is not quite as comrehensive ArsenalArsenal Good questions, but review is not quite as comrehensive as compared to LIR Pharmacology. If you don't have the time for Katzung's Basic and Clinical Pharmacology, LIR is a better bet. I wish that they had simply added the questions to the Basic and Clinical Pharmacology so I wouldn't have to buy this book for them and put out slightly more comprehensive review version with the same questions for those that
