Jack Reacher - for an educated person, spoke in too many 2-3 word sentenc. A good beginning to the Jack Reach series, but there are some troubling signs I decided to reach this book after watching the Jack Reacher movie starring Tom Cruise. I found the main character to be interesting and I haven’t read anything in this genre in quite some time. If you’ve seen the movie and liked it you will probably like the book, as the basic plot (Jack Reacher, loner but very capable good guy) and characterization of Jack Reacher is very simila. "Keeps you interested until the end." according to Philo-sophia. Enjoyable. Although, at times I found myself questioning detective Finlay’s credentials. I know the setting is some backwoods town in Georgia, but I hope that normal police procedure and common-sense are practiced in this town. For example, the police find a phone number in the shoe of one of the men murdered (I won’t give away his identity) and are surprised when Reacher asks the
