Charles Martin is one of my all time favorite authors, and I've kind of come to expect a lot from his books. Even so, this story still blew me away. I don't think I've ever cried this much while reading a book. And not in an errant tear escaping down my cheek kind of way, but the brand of crying where you actually have to put down the book, find an entire box of tissues, and sob your way through multiple pages multiple times.But don't pass up this book if you are one of those folks who "don't like sad stories." While there are, admittedly, some very heartbreaking moments in this book, there are many more prec.
