Despite being produced by a well-appointed publishing operation, if you don't already excel at listening to rapid-fire Japanese speech, these cd's and written notes will simply feel like being run over by a garbage truck. For some of the questions, transcripts are given in the book, but translations are never provided, so if you do not already understand the strange sound effects of spoken Japanese, you are out of luck. Also, some of the dialogues are spoken at lightning speed, so listening to the dialogues is like trying to decipher REM lyrics; you might listen "a nicely printed book but not very useful" according to Eichan.
