"This is not large print. See it in the store before you buy." according to Amazon Customer. This comment is not to review the NIV 2011, but this particular large print volume. OK, it is huge. Which is what I expected, considering the content and articles. The binding and page quality is very good. I like the flexible cover. What disappointed me is the print size and overall layout of the volume. Someone needs to give these penny pinching publishers a lesson in print size. IMO, large print starts at 11 pt. font. Twelve is better. Beyond that is giant print. The NIVZ large pri. "NOT LARGE PRINT" according to J. McGinnis. This Bible is labeled as large print. However, the text font of this Bible is the same as my regular print Zondervan NIV Bible. The only difference is the lines are slightly wider apart. Very misleading to call this Bible large print, when it is clearly not. Very disappointed. Thanks to Amazon for their amazing return policy.. Also, it is very large and heavy. I recommend purchasing a Bible cover with handles. That being said, I can live with that for what you get in information in this great work!
