"Great idea, a bit of a disappointing execution" according to Gaming.Fit. I really, really wanted to love this one. I think our country is in dire need of teaching our children civics and history. And I didn't find this book to be overtly political in one way or the other, it provided some decent background on concepts like elections and voting.But like others, the main issue I have is with the style. It reads pretty smoothly and the images are colorful and relevant. My daughter isn’t exactly thrilled by the various aspects of government, but it is planting a seed in order for her to grasp the concept now and build on it in the future.
