You can choose to read Lyra then Gemma, Gemma then Lyra, or alternate between chapters of both.I decided to read this book by starting with Lyra’s story, then moving onto Gemma’s. I've read dual points of view, and I've read "YA girl's parent is involved with sketchy biotechnology, and it's about to effect her life in a big way", I've even read another flip book, but Replica still manages such a departure from anything else I've read! I think it has to do with the characters and HOW their sto. RobynJC said Wonky formatting gimmick gets in the way of a solid story. It's impossible to review this book without reviewing the format, because the format directly impacts the reading experience. I'm not sure that's a good thing.
