As I began to read Patricia McLachlan's Sarah, Plain and Tall Iwas instantly thrust into a time machine that took me back to asimpler time and place. A time of farms and wagons pulled byhorses. I love the story, but this book didn't tell. "Five Stars" according to Christine Shuck. A classic story, we are using this as part of our homeschool curriculum this fall.
