I was expecting a little "board" book and not the larger hard cover book. He will be 3 in October and he can "read" the book to me based on the pictures. I have to read this numerous times to him and he laughs ever time I read it. We are big fans of Julia Donaldson books/movies. Every night I send my son to his book shelf to select books for his night time reading, and since we have purchased this book, it has been selected every single night. We have loved all of Julia Donaldson's books (we own Snail and the Whale, The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo's child, Room on the Broom, The Spiffiest Giant in town and Monkey Puzzle) and this one is just as popular with me.
