It’s a case of monstrous cuteness as the Princess in Black encounters her biggest challenge yet: a field overrun by adorable bunnies.Princess Magnolia and her unicorn, Frimplepants, are on their way to have brunch with Princess Sneezewort, an occasion Frimplepants enjoys more than anything in the world. The monster alarm! After a quick change in the secret cave, Princess Magnolia and Frimplepants are transformed into the Princess in Black and her faithful pony, Blacky. But when they get to the goat pasture, all they can see is a field full of darling little bunnies nibbling on grass, twitching their velvet noses, and wiggling their fluffy tails. Where are the monsters? Are these bunnies as innocent as they appear?. But just when he can smell the freshly baked bread and the heaping platters of sugar-dusted doughnuts, Princess Magnolia’s glitter-stone ring rings

. When she reaches the pasture, she doesn't see any monsters, just a bunch of cute bunnies. Full color illustrations bring the action (and cuteness!) to life. This is the Princess in Black's cutest adventure yet and it will be most appreciated by those who have already been introduced to her in the previous books. Children who like funny adventure stories will eat this one up (pardon the pun). However, these bunnies are more than meets the eye, eating absolutely everything in sight, and the Princess in Black will have to count on her friends to help save the day. From School Library Journal Gr 1–3—Princess Magnolia and her faithful pony Blackie are just about to join their friend for brunch when Magnolia's monster ring goes off, alerting her to a new threat

Such a fun series!!! NDow These books are so fun. My son and my daughter both love these and we usually laugh out loud while reading them. The pages are brightly colored and all the characters are well developed and have great personalities. Princess Magnolia and her horse blacky make a great pair and we are excited for more of their adventures!!!! Just a side note, my six year old son usually doesn't enjoy his sisters "girl books". When we first started reading he was off to the side playing but just a few minutes in he was sitting with us asking to re read what he missed and laughing right with us. It really is enjoyable for both genders.. Love these books! Jessica O. The Princess in Black is my 4 year old's favorite literary character at the moment! She will sit through the entire booking and loves that it has chapters. We have the first 2 books and the 4th is on order. This one is a little bit different than the first because the monsters are actually bunnies.Shannon Hale -- If you read these, thank you for the fun stories and COLOR illustrations!!! For book 5, my little one would love to see the Princess in Black go into Monster Land! And we can't wait to see how Princess Sneezewort plays out :). Great Early Chapter Books Amazon Customer This series is so cute. Easy early chapter books for my 1st grader. The illustration is amazing, colorful and bright. The characters are super cute. The story is so engaging my daughter can't wait to keep reading to see who the princess in black is going to defeat next!
