THE ONLY BABY/CHILDRENS BOOK YOU NEED We dropped a heavy dime buying baby books for our little one. Although I do truly appreciate the books we purchased and can't say that I regret it, I do feel that all of the other books are pretty much unnecessary after receiving this little treasure. It is high quality on literally EVERY level. The paper, the binding, the illustrations, the sheer volume of stories as well as nursery rhymes. it is quite simply THE BEST BABY/CHILDRENS BOOK YOU NEED. Nuff said. Buy it already.. Lorraine A. This is a gorgeous well-constructed book with padded cover, beautiful illustrations and is exactly what I have been looking for to read to my Grandchildren. It has oodles of traditional stories, rhymes and childrens songs. My Granddaughters love it! Yes, it's true, some of the content is no longer politically correct, but I figure I can just substitute kinder words until the little ones can read it themselves. However, this book offers a great variety of classic and new material, short rhymes to stories several pages long. There is also an index for when kids are able to request specific stories verbally. The illustrations are pleasant and colorful without being to bright. Overall a good bedtime standby with just a couple of issues.. 65 book.
