All around wonderful book for anyone interested in becoming a master behind the bar.Most cook/bar books fall short of dissecting the science behind their recipes. Not only does Death & Co. examine every detail in building one of the nation's beloved drinking establishments, its incorporation of original elements like the favorite drinks of regular customers is refreshing. For many books. Great book! Great book!! I am not a fan of many of the drinks in here and I don't say this in a negative way-they are eye openers-this is the sort of book that teaches you a great deal not just about mixology but about your own palette and the type of drinks you will lean towards.
