When I purchased this wonderful book recently, I knew it would be a hit with my kids. Because I purchased the first three in the series, my children were thrilled that this one was added to the series. The author’s ability to describe the culmination of events leading to the earth’s formation in a melodic manner that. Parents will enjoy reading Early Earth to their children I checked this book out because the cover caught my eye. I’m not sure I would call this a science book but, in my opinion, any book that sparks the imagination is a good book and this one does! I especially enjoyed the whimsical illustrations —lots going on in them. I don’t have young children around the house .
