No writer can creep me out like Stephen King Mr. Mercedes made it to my Best Reads list, so I was eager to reacquaint myself with Bill Hodges, Holly Gibney, and Jerome Robinson in Finders Keepers. At first I kept waiting for those three to make their appearance, but I quickly fell into the story and stopped missing them. By the time they were ready for some real action (roughly halfway through), I welcomed them with open arms because Morris Bellamy was giving me the creeps.For some reason, certain characters kept reminding me of other things in this book. John Rothstein reminded me of J.D. Salinger, and not only did Morris Bellamy remind me of anoth. CJ said Typical great character development and engaging story from King. I really liked this book, and actually enjoyed it even more than the first one (Mr. Mercedes). I'm a lifelong fan of Stephen King and have always felt that he is underrated because he writes in the horror genre and also some of the bad movies that have been made from his novels (In response to this criticism I always point people to the really great movies made from his shorter stories - Shawshank Redemption, Stand By Me , Misery). This novel, as is typical of King, really gets the reader invested, in large part due to the excellent character development. I grew to really like the main characters from the. Pure Stephen king Stephen So many people have already rated this book so I doubt this will be read by anyone. But here goes anyway.These two books Mr. Mercedes and Finders Keepers, though the books didn't have any other worldly characters or monsters, doesn't make it any less terrifying and leaves to our imagination that there may be some very real monsters who may live next-door and we just don't know about it.These two books are classic King which means a total page turner and gripping suspense to the last.Stephen King has said that he doesn't write about extra ordinary people who deal with normal things but instead he writes ab
