Camille said Lovely Illustrations. Another great adaptation, though it's definitely lacking the rich detail of the novel. I wouldn't recommend reading this unless you've already read the novel - I'd fear that it would put you off the book. (Although I suppose it could peak your interest and make you want to read the novel!)This edition gives a great overview of the plot. It's the children that. It was cool! For those that don't have the patience to Steven Salmon I read the book, so I got the graphic novel on a whim. It was cool! For those that don't have the patience to read the entire book, you can get the jist of the book in the graphic novel with the illustrated elements to boot. I enjoyed it.. A condensed version of the book The whole story was told in such a short manner, as graphic novels often do. The art wasn't too special but the old photographs lent an air of realism despite the simple illustrations.
