This is unfortunate simply because single columns are better for reading at any length (which is why novels, etc, are designed in a single column format), but you cant have your ca. Chad Boss said Giant Print and CompactYes!. I have to admit I was a little skeptical about a bible claiming to be both compact and yet have giant, readable print. Based on other positive reviews, I bought this bible and I'm very glad that I did. For me, it's the perfect bible for, well, reading. For one thing, the single column format is great. You may remember the single column format from, uh, every other book you've ever read. There's a reason most books have just a single wide column of textit's easier to read.The goals of giant print and compactness would seem to be at odds, but this bible delivers both.
