Someone call Edward James Olmos Chuco Rifa and have him make a movie about John "Boxer" Mendoza.I received this book about a week ago. I forgot that I had purchased it due to ordering a lot of books. After my job cut my hours, I had plenty of time to catch up and read some of the books that I had purchased. This one I couldn't put down. I finished it within 2 days. It was very well-written and gave a lot of info about the outcome/consequences of Bangin'.I have read a lot of books on EME, and of course Robert Gratton's--Rise & Fall of La Nuestra Familia. This book is on my top three to recommend to friends. I loved how John goes into details. I actually felt like I was locked-up with. S.
