I Hate This Textbook I am a graduate family nurse practitioner student. This book is a required textbook for my pediatric practicum. There are many reasons to dislike this book. What I like least is the over use of abbreviations for technical terms. For example, PET. You might think that is an abbreviation for Positron Emission Tomography. You may have to go back for pages and pages but will never find where the term was us. "Required for school" according to Kate. This was a requirement for my MSN. It is a very thorough book. It is of course out of date on a few things, be looking for a newer edition. Overall, a good comprehensive book.. "Four Stars" according to Yinka. Great product.
