"Apathy At Its Finest" according to Avid Reader. Having read all of the Orchard series, this book was a huge disappointment.The plot, what there was one was thin, disjointed and frankly, boring. I have never read about a couple either so apathetic or wrapped up in themselves as Meg's parents were portrayed. Violent attacks and murder and their attitude was HoHum.Seth's portrayal in this book was that of a spineless, yes dear husband.I have loved this series and hope this isn't a clue as to the direction it will be taking.. Disappointed No apples, not much charm to that part of New Jersey. Pretty normal parents as characters. Maybe it's because I grew up nearby. It an orchard mystery without the orchardjust an okay mystery.. Five Stars Carolyn Love this series!
