Great resource A This is a great little pocket book and includes the important things to look for or ask about when providing routine well care to children. I give a copy of this to each of my medical students and encourage them to review it before going into the room to see the patient. In regards to physical development or screening that is what this book is used for. On each age group it lists what should be done at that age and suggests what screening should be done at that visit. ie BP, head size, lead level, etc. If you are looking for weight change at each age group take a look at the WH. Okay. It does have the information from birth to teen about milestones, wet/poop diapers, diet, etc. It does not have vaccines. However I would like it if the book would have tabs because it's not so easy to flip and find 6mos infant. You have to keep flipping and looking at the headings on the side. I also wish it had more of "abnormal findings" in each section.. Jane Horst said Bright Futures Works For Medical Students. Med students find this small book packed with helpful information. It's easy to carry for quick reference in the office or hospital.
