The poky puppy always seemed to be rewarded for being late while his siblings were punished, until finally he isn't around while the others make amends and gets his comeuppance with no dessert. My three year old wanted me to get it after seeing it on the back of another Golden Book, and he really loves that parts with the signs telling the puppies they won't get dessert.
